About Card Event

An online group card for everyone who cannot be in the same room.

What it is

Card Event is a web app for group greeting cards. One person creates the card and shares a link. Everyone else opens it on any phone or computer and adds a message, a photo, a video or a voice note, with no app and no account. The recipient opens one link, on the day you choose, and can come back to it years later.

Why it exists

The paper card that goes round an office misses everyone who works from home, gets signed in a hurry at someone's desk, and holds nothing but signatures. Card Event is built so that the colleague in another country, the grandparent who would rather talk than type and the friend who always forgets can all be part of the same card.

How it makes money

One payment per card, made by the organizer when the card is delivered. Building a card and collecting messages is free, signing is always free, and there are no ads and no subscriptions.

What happens to your data

Messages are stored to show them on the card, and nothing else. We do not sell anything and we do not use your content to train models. Cards that are never paid for are deleted, with everything uploaded to them, after 90 days.

Languages

Card Event is available in English and in French, including the free tools and the card wording guides.
