The service

Card Event lets you create a digital group card, collect messages from other people, and deliver the finished card to a recipient. You are the organizer of any card you create.

Your account

You need an account to create a card. You are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping your password to yourself. People who contribute to a card do not need an account.

Payment

Creating a card and collecting messages is free. Payment is due when you deliver a card, and the amount depends on how many distinct people contributed to it at that moment. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.

A payment covers one card. It is not a subscription, and nothing renews.

Refunds

If a delivered card does not work as described, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it. A refund closes the recipient link.

Content

Contributors keep ownership of whatever they add. By contributing, they allow us to store and display it as part of the card. Organizers may hide or delete any contribution to their own card.

Do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, or that you do not have the right to share. We may remove content that breaks this and close the account behind it.

Retention

Delivered cards stay available at their link. Cards that are never paid for are deleted 90 days after their reveal date, or 90 days after creation when no reveal date was set, along with everything uploaded to them.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders before they take effect.
